WORK EXPERIENCE

This section outlines all of my formal and informal work experience, including different vacation work, internships, and other training programs.

VODACOM WORK READINESS WORKSHOP

I was invited to take part in the Vodacom Work Readiness Workshop. This was a 4-day workshop comprising of a two-day learning session and mini-hackathon with the Vodacom Innovation Team, as well as a two-day workshop to help prepare us for the world of work through interview prep, professional communication, understanding workplace culture and so much more.

YASKAWA SOUTHERN AFRICA

During my 9-week vacation work at Yaskawa, I gained hands-on experience in robot programming through basic training and advanced training certifications. I also developed skills in electrical wiring, drilling, fence installation, and problem-solving, contributing to various projects and installations.

GPS ARCHITECTS

I completed a 3-week vacation work placement with GPS Architects, focusing on electrical work for a construction project. My tasks included analyzing and editing electrical plans, wiring plugs and ceiling lights, and assisting with HVAC installations.
